Tune Unilarge + XERF
Tune Unilarge pre-warms your skin first to ensure your XERF is at the perfect temperature for the first and last shot.
The Tune Unilarge tip is smaller than the XERF, allowing for a more precise Pre-Warmed of the Eye Area, Throat, and Neck (thyroid area), which are harder to reach with the XERF.

Why is warming up important?
Why is warming up important?
If you shoot a XERF straight away without warming up your tuneunage, you can expect to get 50-100 shots in the air.
Like Thermage, XERF needs to reach a "collagen response temperature" of around 70 degrees to really kick in.

Pre/Post Treatment Care
- You can wash your face and shower the same day after your treatment, but avoid anything that may irritate the skin, such as scrubbing exfoliation.
- After the procedure, the skin may feel dry due to the heat and should be treated with a regenerating cream, moisturizer, and sunscreen.
- After the procedure, you may experience temporary redness, heat, itching, hives, pain, and dryness. This will vary from person to person, but will usually disappear within 3-7 days.
- Avoid cold compresses or saunas and heavy drinking for 3 days.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do I really need to warm up, can't I just XERF?
Yes, warming up is very important. XERF, like thermage, require the skin to reach the collagen response temperature (around 70°C) before they begin to work. If you start a XERF right away without warming up, the first 50-100 shots are simply used to warm up the skin and are effectively wasted.
– preheated XERF = all 600 shots used effectively
– Normal XERF = only 500 shots actually work (100 shots are spent warming up)
Is it painful to warm up the TuneUnage?
Because TuneUnage uses a gradual increase in temperature, it’s virtually painless – most people feel nothing more than a warm heat sensation, and many people describe it as relaxing, almost like a massage. It’s not necessary to have anesthesia for this treatment, although it does vary.
Does it really improve areas where XERF don't reach?
Yes, the Tune-Unirage has a smaller tip size than the XERF, which allows you to treat areas that are difficult to reach with the XERF tip, such as the Eye Area, Glabella, and Neck (thyroid area). In addition to warming up, it also has its own Lifting effect, allowing for an overall improvement without blind spots.
When does the effect start and how long does it last?
Tightening results are seen immediately after the procedure and continue to improve for 2-3 months as collagen regenerates. The best results are seen at 3 months post-treatment, with results typically lasting 6 months to 1 year, although results vary by individual.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes, it can be combined with other procedures such as Botox, Dermal Fillers, Skin Boosters, etc. however, the order and spacing of the procedures is important, so we will make an optimal treatment plan through consultation with a specialist. In particular, Warming XERF has a great synergy with other Lifting procedures.
Are preheated XERF more expensive than regular XERF?
This adds a tuneunage warmup, but it’s actually rather economical when you consider the number of effective shots. If 100 of the 600 shots in a normal XERF are spent warming up, the actual effectiveness is 500 shots. A preheat XERF has a higher value per shot because all 600 shots are used effectively. You get 20% more effectiveness for the same cost.
